Are there thresholds/caps on individual services?
At this time OMH is planning to establish caps on the Initial Assessment and Outreach and Engagement services. OMH will allow a maximum of three Assessments visits per client per episode (adults) prior to admission. Outreach and Engagement is limited to two visits unless an appropriately qualified professional documents that additional outreach services are clinically necessary and appropriate. Additional outreach may be furnished in increments of up to two services if the need and appropriateness is documented in the record.
