Are there sustainable design standards appropriate for Web portal business and data centers?

We are in the process of developing sustainable design standards for the State of Iowa, which will be incorporated into our State Building Code. We are not originating the standards, but adopting existing standards, where available. We are looking at separate standards for residential and commercial development. Within commercial development, which includes industrial, we are also considering separate standards for a few specific areas, such as schools. One area of specific interest to us is appropriate standards for Web portal businesses and data centers. Is anyone aware of standards appropriate and specific to these businesses? How do LEED or other existing frameworks with broad application work for them?
