Are there supervisors to oversee the quality of the care clients are receiving?
Yes, management conducts weekly or biweekly visits (more or less often, as needed, depending on the situation). We want to always ensure that the client is thoroughly satisfied with the care that he/she is receiving. Due to the independent nature of this service, supervisors aren’t always able to oversee the actual work being performed, but we do require contact from our caregivers on a weekly or bi-weekly basis and expect them to be consistent and through in maintaining the client care log. Our caregivers are employees, not independent contractors, and we absolutely do not place our caregivers in a home and then leave them to their our own devices.
