Are there study abroad opportunities in the BAS program?
Yes and students are strongly encouraged to explore these opportunities! There are three main study abroad options at the University of Guelph for which BAS students are eligible, although none are specific to the BAS program. Check the Centre for International Programs (CIP) website for an up-to-date list of study abroad options. Typically students plan to study abroad during their second or third year. The whole process from application to arriving at the new campus can take about a year, so it is wise to start investigating options early. Study abroad opportunities are increasingly popular on campus and involvement is becoming more competitive. While abroad, students arrange to study courses that will count as electives, or that equate required courses for their minors. Some students have even arranged to take some ASCI courses while abroad (ie.
