Are there still “matchmakers” in Orthodox Jewish communites?
Yes there are still Shadchan (Matchmaker) in the Jewish Community, not only in the Orthodox Community but also the Conservative Community. Our marriage was done using a Shadchan, 4 children and 3 grandchildren later my bride is still my love, I long for the day, when I will rejoin my bride.
