Are there stereotypical characteristics of celtic people?

It dependends on who is doing the stereotyping There are regional traits in British people, but until recent mass immigration we were ethnically Celts. Red hair (and pale skin) from Ireland is the most obvious example. You will find a lot of Red Hair in Scotland (the Scots were from Ireland) and also some in Wales. You will find Norse traits in N.E. England, Scotland and Northern Ireland. The Norsemen raided Britain for a couple of centuries and had one successful invasion. The Danes controlled most of England with York as a capital. In South Wales there is even an Italian Influence. Due to maritime trading there is dark hair and olive skin amongst the population. The Saxons who were the only group to substantially influence the English gene people were also of Celtic origin. In fact they were closer to the center of core Celtic culture than the British. It is ironic that the Irish who most shout about being Celtic are genetically the least Celtic. A D.N.A. survey has confirmed this. T
