Are there special seeds for singers?
Black oil sunflower seed is the hands-down favorite of most seed eating birds. Keep your bird feeding simple by offering the sunflower in both a tubular and a hopper-style feeders, put the tiny black Nyjer seed into a tube feeder with small holes and hang up a suet block as well. The addition of a bird bath may attract birds to your yard that don’t visit bird feeders, but love an easy place to get a drink or have a bath.
