Wis Stats 448.30 states that any physician who treats a patient shall inform the patient about the availability of all alternate, viable medical modes of treatment and about the benefits and risks of these treatments. Any licensed physician may prescribe Latisse (not a controlled substance, so does not need special certification) but some may be more knowledgeable about this drug than others. Ch Med 17 discusses the standards for dispensing and prescribing drugs for Medical Doctors.
