Are there special considerations in reporting on ongoing human research?
Reporting on ongoing human research is subject to federal and local regulatory guidance. Any articles reporting on an open clinical trial or any ongoing human subject research that will appear either internally or externally, in print, on a web site, or broadcast must be reviewed and approved by Northwestern’s Institutional Review Board (IRB).
