It is the Ethernet circuit that consumes most of the power and when performing actions like Download of new software, Scan and Ping LANspectre consumes much more power. In a large network with a subnet mask larger than 255 units LANspectre may need to transmit requests for a long time which will consume a lot of power. We recommend you to use a fixed IP for LANspectre in such cases and maybe scan subnets of 255.255.255.000 separately.
