Some of our cutting-edge services are BIM, or building information management, which architects are using to manage facilities. The other is LiDAR, which is a laser beamed from an aircraft to plot a 3-D model of the earth. As a firm we are constantly monitoring the life cycle of our services. It’s our goal as a firm to be on the emerging side of the life cycle of our services. When others can offer those services, it’s time to reinvent ourselves. What are some of your current projects? We are working with Charlotte-Mecklenburg Utilities on the Reedy Creek-McKee Wastewater interceptors and a civic town center in North Myrtle Beach. We are completing two Targets in Lexington, S.C., and Gastonia, and 12 Value Place hotels. Nationally, our photogrammetry department is doing such projects as mapping Camp David and President Bush’s ranch in Texas.
