METALRENU cannot rejuvenate the surface if it is extremely damaged. For example, METALRENU is not effective once salt-air oxidation is so bad that the metal is extremely pitted or rusted or if the paint film has completely eroded away due to weathering. Peeling paint must be repaired prior to being coated with METALRENU. METALRENU will prevent acid rain damage but nothing can fix it once the surface is etched and stained.
