Are there small performing groups within the Chorale?
A. In addition to the entire chorus of over 150 singers, the Turtle Creek Chorale has several small groups. These groups perform at local and national venues where it would not be physically possible or practical to bring the entire membership. Chamber Chorus is a group of 60 men who perform a classical repertoire similar to that of the entire chorus. ENCORE! is a group of 16 performing a pop repertoire. New Texas Symphony Orchestra (NTSO) gives performers and audiences a new opportunity to enjoy playing and hearing some of the world’s best classical music – both traditional and contemporary. The Strangerettes are a cheerleading-style drill team.
