Are there size limitations on counter tops?

Each contractor may have their own size limits, but most often countertop sections that are precast (brought to site for installation) do not exceed 8’ long by 3’ wide. This will require seams in longer applications. The seams are not unsightly and can be incorporated into the design of the counter. Cast in place (molded on site) countertops can eliminate the need for moving the slab and alleviate seams.
