Last FM tracks what you listen to and how you like it and the same for everyone else, and they cross reference your tastes with other people’s and suggest other music or concerts based on what others have liked. You can share your lists with friends, generate RSS feeds, etc. with the data. Very popular and very well thought-out, though not as trendy as it was a few months ago. Another alternative is Pandora: http://www.pandora.com It’s internet radio, but you can rate the songs (tell it which songs you’d like to hear more of and more like, and which you’d like to never hear again) and get the website to generate stations based on songs or bands you like.
