Are there sharks, sting rays, or barracudas on the reef?
A. Yes, there are no fences in the ocean, all the aquatic life is free to come and go as they please. Just remember you DO NOT look like a food source to the fish, we are far larger then what they normally eat. We as humans make too much noise. If you do see any of those things, most of the time you will be one of the luckiest people on the reef. The sharks that call our waters home are nocturnal, meaning they sleep during the day and feed at night. Seeing one mostly means you have disturbed their nap and they are just going to find a nice quiet place to finish their nap. In over 25 years of doing snorkel tour operation, no one has ever been eaten or attached while snorkeling, by sharks.
