ARE THERE SCANNERS WITH FREQUENCIES ALREADY BUILT-IN?
A – Yes. The Uniden Home Patrol, & The GRE PSR-700, have built-in SD cards containing the entire USA RadioRef frequency database. The Home Patrol model is Capable of both Digital & Trunking, while the lower cost PSR-700 is Analog trunking only. You simply select what you want to listen to, from the built-in (updateable) database, & the scanner programs itself to those areas, Frequencies, AlphaNumerics, PL’s & all!
