Are there sample Safe Routes to School plans available?
Below are several sample plans from various states that might be of use. Connecticut has a sample master plan available online. Visit http://www.ctsaferoutes.org/get_started.html and look for the “Sample Safe Routes to School Master Plan. Illinois requires applicants to complete a travel plan. To see a sample travel plan for that state go to http://www.dot.il.gov/saferoutes/SafeRoutesSchoolTravelPlanContent.aspx then scroll down to near the bottom of the page to find the link.
