The temporary Blacksburg Middle facility contains an adequate number of restroom facilities based on the codes in place when the buildings were constructed. The Virginia Department of Education provides guidelines regarding school buildings, including restrooms and mobile classrooms. The recommendations state that additional restroom facilities are not required for mobile units if the existing restroom capacity in the school building provides for projected enrollment.
