They’re places and buildings where objects appear to defy gravity, things and people seem to change size, compasses spin in confusion, and so on. If you’re wise to stagecraft and optical illusions, these places will be amusing but probably not astounding. But the tour guides often talk about strange geophysical influences that baffle scientists. Is that hokum, or might genuine Earth effects having to do with magnetism and gravity be active here too?
