More than 20 brands and alliances in the US and Canada specify supplemental vitamin E feeding in their feedlot programs and (or) measure tissue levels at slaughter. Programs vary from 50,000 to 100,000 total supplemental IU of vitamin E, depending on alliance objectives, and include feedlots in all parts of North America.
