Are there programs for all instrumentalists, vocalists and string players?
Jazz Camp is designed for performers on all instruments, including string players (such as violin, viola, cello) and vocalists. The Jazz Camp string program is designed to bridge the gap between classical study and jazz techniques, and offers string players instruction in basic improvisation skills and other jazz techniques specific to their instruments. Vocalists receive instruction in jazz singing and improvisation within a small ensemble setting, in addition to the same general curriculum as instrumentalists.
