Are there plans to improve the parking around Music Hall?
Yes! Over the next two years, the lot across Elm Street from Music Hall—the former location of Washington Park Elementary School—will become an underground parking garage, with green space above the garage. The new garage will provide secure, user-friendly parking for 400 cars. When will the new garage be finished? We expect it will be available for Cincinnati Opera patrons in the summer of 2011. Will the lot between Music Hall and Memorial Hall be available in the future? Yes. Once the underground garage is complete, we expect the Memorial Hall lot will be available to all patrons.
