Are there plans to add SwissProt numbers/links to the GENE entries?

There will be no SwissProt links in the TRANSFAC® gene table in the short-term, but we are planning to extend the gene table considerably in the future, and have already started working on this. This extended gene table or gene database will not only be interlinked with all of our own databases, but it will also contain links to more external databases, e.g. SwissProt, than at present.
