Are there plans for greater differentiation between Symphony and Media Composer, right now primary difference is secondary color corrector?
Symphony is still differentiated by the extended color correction toolset, which includes secondary color correction as well as a number of other color correction enhancements such as Relational CC, HSL controls, Luma Ranges controls, Channel group controls, and Levels controls. Symphony also has the Universal Mastering toolset. Customers distinguish between editing and finishing with these features and deploy Symphony for the highest end work, which generally commands a higher billing rate.
