Are there personal and crisis counseling services available for students?
Yes, there are counseling and other student support services available on campus for currently enrolled Linfield students. A student can meet with a counselor to discuss his or her concerns. Typical concerns include stress management, self esteem, homesickness, difficulties with others (professors, roommates, friends, etc), anxiety, depression, choice of major or future career, relationships and other kinds of issues typical in a college-age population.There are also support groups available on campus or in the McMinnville community for a variety of student needs. Professional ethics and Oregon law prohibit disclosure of any information obtained in the course of counseling for individuals over the age of 18.
