Are there particular types of training that are becoming more appealing to businesses in the current climate?
Rather than particular types of training, I would say that businesses need their training to deliver value for money. I am seeing more and more businesses adopt in-house training, job-shadowing and apprenticeships to help them to keep training staff, whilst also cutting back on costs. Despite the downturn, I am talking to a large number of companies about how to make the most out of their training budget, so it does demonstrate that companies are not necessarily cutting back on training, but are seeking ways to keep costs down.
