Yes. This option allows both internal LAN network connections and remote connections at the same time. This means staff can work at remote sites or at home. The best performance is to set your Firewall to allow for UDP packets on a specific port. The CAFM software handles all packet loss and security issues. However your IT department may prefer to use TCP which also is an option but has a slower response time. (See question Getting Started 1.a). CAFM will work with your MIS/IT personnel to resolve any issues.
