Tagged As: Jackson V Guitar Question: I’m new to playing guitars and don’t have much of an ear as to the sound of guitar I’d like to purchase. Right now I’d like to purchase for looks. Sorry but I can’t help it. When I acquire a taste for the different sounds, I will then make another purchase. But for now I love a few V’s out there. I guess the Gibson flying V would be the best choice but I don’t care for that particular rounded V look. Answer: The King Vs rule. I’ve always loved how they felt. And they play fast (so that sounds right up your alley). I don’t know what level you are, but I would redcommend the USA model. If you are more of a beginner, start out with a bolt-on neck model, which will save you about $500. Or see if you can find a used King V or Rhoads V.
