Are there organised excursions I can participate in?
Yes. Each weekend there are planned excursions. In the past these excursions have been to historic houses, castles, cathedrals, museums and other places of interest. Some weekends there is also a choice of a theatre trip to Stratford-upon-Avon or The Globe. Places on these excursions should be booked in advance and details will be sent to you when you have been accepted for the Summer Schools and venue bookings confirmed. Occasionally it may be possible to purchase remaining tickets from the office although we strongly recommend that you pre-book tickets as places are limited. On arrival in Cambridge, please refer to your timetable for details of days when remaining tickets may be available. By pre-booking, you ensure a place (subject to tickets remaining) on the excursion(s) of your choice. You will be able to collect your tickets when you register on the first day of your Summer School. Please note that we do not contact applicants to confirm their bookings. We will only contact you
