• Yes. Information regarding retakes and “banking” work already completed toward the portfolio will be provided in the application booklet furnished to each candidate. Information may also be obtained from the NBPTS website. www.nbpts.org. • Candidates for National Board Certification will receive information regarding the state lottery for funding retake examinations. The lottery may afford an opportunity for a retake that would be free of charge to the candidate.
