Are there opportunities for non-producing complex, branch, and sales managers?

Unfortunately, not really. Due to the management consolidations in the last two years between firms such as Morgan Stanley, Smith Barney, Merrill Lynch, Bank of America, Wachovia and Wells Fargo there is considerably more supply of available managers than demand. We know of regional B/Ds and investment management firms who are looking to upgrade their talent pool. But, with all firms having deep management benches we don’t see anything loosening up there at least through the end of 2010.
