Are there nationwide listening comprehension tests for French in English secondary schools?
Not really. Most secondary school students take a language (usually French, German or Spanish) and listening comprehensions are a part of this, but there is no standard nationwide test. If you go on to study French at GCSE, you would do the same listening exams as other students with that particular exam board, but again, not everyone takes French, and there are a number of different examining boards across the UK, so depending on where you live you may have a different listening exam to someone else.
