NO. Contrary to several major pre-employment screening companies, there is NO nationwide criminal database available to the public. Law enforcement agencies have access to the NCIC through the FBI, however there remains NO nationwide criminal search for employers. These “nationwide” criminal searches should only be used as a supplement to county level criminal searches.
