Are there more people alive than dead?
I don’t think anyone has the definitive answer to this. I’ve heard it both ways. Some people say that the current population of the earth is about half the number of the people who have ever lived, but others say that there are more people living now than have ever previously lived and died. Then again, some people say that there have been “humans”- genetically modern homo sapiens for a lot longer than other people claim there have been. If there have been humans for a few hundred thousand years, there are probably more that have died than are currently living, but if the world is only six thousand or so years old then there are probably more people living now than in all previous human history combined. That’s a problem with history. It always depends who you ask.
