Are there more male or female hurricane names?
I would say that there are more hurricanes named after females than males. This is because for many years hurricanes were only only given female names. It has one been relatively recently that we started alternating between male and female names and I don’t know if there have been enough with male names yet to make of for the years that they were all female.
