Are there monitors or security provided for the apartments or dorms to ensure safety?
Safety and security are very important to Monroe College. Four of our five dorms have cameras and all of our dorm buildings provide evening roving Security Officers who look out for the well-being of our student population. Resident Assistants are also provided for each building–they are the first person of contact that the students will interact with. Resident Assistants ensure that students upkeep their rooms, upholding the school’s standards for Residence Living. Resident Assistants also help to coordinate special Residence events for students. Resident Directors are also available to help students with problems and are available to answer questions that students may have.
