Yes. Together with Sport England the CPSU has developed a model child protection policy that an organisation can use. SportsCoach UK has also developed a training programme for organisations to help in the development and implementation of child protection policies. If you want to find out more about developing child protection policies for your club or sport please contact the CPSU. Within Northern Ireland the Sports Council have produced a Code of Ethics and Good practice for childrens sport. This provides a framework for child protection policies and procedures.
