Are there maximum file sizes and numbers Backer can handle?
Backer can handle file sizes greater than 4 GB almost everywhere. Exception: files in Zip archives and the archives themselves, which are both limited to 2 GB, and FTP, which is limited to 4 GB. Backer can search unlimited quantities of data and copy unlimited numbers of files. Extremely many files found may eat up your computer’s free memory, but you’d need over a million of them to even notice that on a 512 MB system. If Backer shows errors, size or number restrictions are most probably not the cause.
