Are there many musicians in the region who can play both traditional Indian and western instruments?
“At first, I could not find anyone who could sing in Punjabi or anyone who could play the musical instruments that I required on my tracks. “However, I eventually found two people who could sing, write songs and play musical instruments and began recording a demo which I sent of to various record companies. I received positive feed back from all the companies. “I then got in touch with a guy called Big Suga Kane who has just recently set up the label ‘Suga Kane Records’. Suga recently released his album ‘Desi Platinum’ which is shaken-up the industry. Suga liked my ideas and basically we took it from there”.
