No. We use what is known as an “asynchronous model (not in real time – like e-mail) rather than a synchronous model (real time, as in chat rooms). The asynchronous model allows for much greater flexibility and accommodation for individual learning and life styles. In order to make sure that all the necessary content is delivered there are class schedules. Typically students have at least one week to answer any posted question and are provided with a calendar with due dates of assignments.
