Yes. The FastTracks program includes a rail connection that is likely to be commuter rail (diesel-electric rather than overhead electric power) between Downtown Denver and Denver International Airport via the rail corridor that passes through Stapleton along Smith Road. A rail station is planned to be part of a new multi-modal transit station in the area of Smith Road and Ulster.
