I believe alot of the civil liberty unions are jumping on the bandwagon about the issue of drug testing. As for a law in any organization, I would guess it might depend on the organization involved if they want to do this and then it was more than likely written in the by laws of the organization that you joined or are considering joining. I don’t know if anyone is immune from drug testing anywhere anymore. I think if you are taking certain drugs for medical reasons (like a few that I take daily) there is a clause I had to sign that they could request a test for illegal drugs in my system if they suspected it. It sucks but in some ways it is understandable. In others it is nothing but an obvious violation of your privacy..
