The U.S. uses one quarter of the world’s natural resources and yet we represent only 4% of the earth’s population. The way we plan our cities and the way we plan our landscapes can all contribute to this trend. Both are significant tools of our profession. What are some of the top challenges facing the landscape architecture field over the next decade? There are a lot of disciplines competing in the same arena that we compete in, the ability to sustain professional integrity within that competition is pretty challenging.
