Are there initial steps an action agency can take before contacting NOAA Fisheries?
Yes. On-line information sources are available to assist federal agencies and the public. EFH Map Descriptions depict the area of EFH for each life stage of fish managed under a Fishery Management Plan within the Gulf of Alaska, Bering Sea, and Aleutian Islands. EFH Text Descriptions identify EFH for each life stage of managed fish species.
