Inclusion criteria: Age younger than 2 years; physician-diagnosis of bronchiolitis; ability of the parent/guardian to give informed consent. Exclusion criteria: Interviewed for bronchiolitis study during an earlier hospital admission; parent/guardian does not agree to the collection of the NPA specimen or possible future use of the specimen; patient transferred to a participating site hospital >48 hours after the time of admission at another hospital.
