Are there important changes in language/terminology resulting from the new UNDP Programming methodology?

0

Some changes in language and terminology are resulting from the Simplification & Harmonization initiative. The most important changes, which will require some adaptation, relate to the use of “executing agency” and “implementing partners” which is described in the Project Organization section of the Guide, and also reflected in the revised Financial Rules and Regulations (FRR) approved by the Executive Board. Other terms have been introduced following the launch of Atlas, but should by now be familiar to staff (Awards, Project ID). New terminologies deriving from the PRINCE2 methodology have been also incorporated (for the Project Organization Structure in particular), but overall these changes have been kept to a minimum.
