Are there Hostels in Morocco????

There are none in Tangier and Fes (asked wife who is from Morocco). There are some to be found in Marrakech but hotels are SO inexpensive this time of year, there really is no reason to stay in a hostel. As for the question that was not answered above… the best option is to find hotels when you are there… except for Marrakech, this is the off-season and you can (and are expected to) negotiate for great rates on hotels. All currency is the Dirham when it comes to paying for hotel. No Euro. In the souks they use Dirham, Franc, and Rials (it can be confusing if you don’t know what you are doing). Exchange your money IN MOROCCO at the bank (I found that one bank right beside another has wildly different exchanges and they fluctuate daily). Additionally, the posted exchange (the board with lights on it) can be weeks old. Go to the counter and ask for today’s exchange sheet. Shop around to get the best rates.
