ARE THERE HOMES TO BUY THAT ACCEPT SECTION 8 PAYMENTS?!
There are many HUD programs for low income households to purchase homes, administered through the local Housing offices (such as county or city…), but they are not called “section-8”. And in the past, I’ve seen many owners of properties that accept section-8 vouchures sell their property for various reasons (moving, retiring, family deaths…). Whether as a new owner you want to continue to accept section-8 vouchers is a different matter. If you are interested in providing housing for low income households, or are looking for low income housing, you should contact your local housing department. Stop in and visit them. That is what they are paid for.
