Practical information When and where we meet Meetings are sporadically held on Wednesdays, once or twice a month at 8 pm somewhere on the UCB campus. Previous meetings have included slideshows on topics ranging from local climbing and hiking to trips to Peru, Australia and Morocco. Other recent meetings have included instruction on old-school climbing techniques, a lecture on geology of the Sierra Nevada, and backcountry cooking, to name a few. Check the calendar for details on the next meeting. If you have an idea for a meeting contact our social secretary. Every week we meet for dinner at La Val’s/La Burrita on Euclid at 7pm (though not particularly punctually). Our weekly gear checkout also combines an orientation for prospective members where they can get information and join CHAOS.
